About Dr. Matthew Hartenburg, D.C.
Dr. Matt Hartenburg was a multi-sport athlete at St. Charles East High School where he competed in football, wrestling, track, and rugby. After high school, Dr. Hartenburg continued playing football at Augustana college and eventually, rugby at the University of Northern Iowa, and would ultimately end up earning a rugby scholarship to play rugby at Palmer College of Chiropractic. He remains active today by running distances anywhere from 5K to ultra marathons.
Dr. Hartenburg graduated Palmer College in 2009 and has worked in Orland Park, Mokena, and Be Well Chiropractic in Frankfort with his wife Dr. Anna.
Dr. Hartenburg is very active in teaching continuing education on the topic of athletes and chiropractic and has spoken at several continuing education events and research symposiums.
Dr. Matt currently serves as a flight engineer in the Air Force National Guard, practices Chiropractic part-time, and is a volunteer coach for the Frankfort Gladiators youth wrestling team.
