What is Chiropractic?

The body has self-healing and self-regulating homeostatic mechanisms.  Those mechanisms are controlled in large part by the central and peripheral nervous system.  Therefore, structure and function of the body are reciprocally interrelated.

Many people are introduced to Chiropractic care as a treatment for back and neck pain.  Chiropractic is much more than just a pain therapy.  The goal of chiropractic is to improve the life and health of patients. Misalignments in the vertebrae of the spinal column can disrupt proper nerve function and lead to poor health because to the intimate relationship of the spinal column and the nervous system.

Chiropractic doctors correct vertebral subluxations that interfere with the transmission of information from the brain to all systems of the body, having a positive effect on the body's organs and systems down to the cellular level.

Our Chiropractors gently correct any problems you may have by using a broad range of adjusting methods commonly referred to as the Palmer Package. By restoring proper nerve flow, the chiropractor helps people enjoy more of their full potential for a healthy, full life.

What to Expect

At your first visit, you will experience a thorough examination, and X-rays if necessary.  We provide specific, scientific chiropractic adjustments based on findings from palpation (utilizing motion assessments of your spine), thermography (skin temperature readings to assess the function of the autonomic nervous system), and X-ray findings if X-rays are performed.  In our office, you will experience a high quality of safe and gentle chiropractic care with short wait times and affordable fees for the whole family.
